Goodyear Philippines has just released a new line of Wrangler A/T and M/T tires that are aimed at providing better grip in both on- and off-road use. Not only that, Goodyear claimed that the new series of Wrangler tires are now more durable as well thanks to newly-developed tech.
First up is the Wrangler Duratrac which comes with TractiveGroove technology and are tailored for 70-percent off-road and 30% on-road. It offers better traction in muddy conditions and even has self-cleaning shoulder blocks that clear the tread of debris. In addition, Duratrac tires have high angle center tread blocks that reduce road noise and deliver better lateral stability, along with a rim protector which guard the wheels from accident curb damage.
Next is the Wrangler All-Terrain Adventure which comes with Kevlar technology. Rated for 50-percent on- and off-road use, Goodyear claimed that the Wrangler All-Terrain is their most versatile tire to date and can go off-road at a moment's notice. It gets Durawall technology that prevents cuts in the sidewall and a layer of Kevlar that makes it robust for any condition. With an open tread pattern, the Wrangler All-Terrain Adventure is also capable in wet, muddy driving conditions.
Finally, there's the Wranger MT/R which also comes with Kevlar and is rated at 90-percent off-road and 10-percent on-road use. Made from Silica Rubber, the Wrangler MT/R tires will deliver superb off-road grip in both wet and dry conditions as claimed by Goodyear. On the other hand, the asymmetric tread design will offer improved off-road traction while maintaining on-road handling. Lastly, the sidewalls are Kevlar reinforced which help increase puncture resistance by up to 35-percent.
“Whether you are a doting parent who likes to take your family on the occasional outing, or an adrenaline junkie who loves the freedom and the adventure of pushing a beast of an SUV to its very limit, Goodyear makes a tire perfect for your SUV and your unique lifestyle,” said Kenneth Sambajon, Goodyear Philippines Market Director.
Aside from the new Wrangler series, Goodyear also introduced the new EfficientGrip Performance SUV tires. Designed for premium SUVs in mind, this particular tire has premium on-road technologies like QuietTread that dampens road noise and FlexContact which absorbs shock from road bumps. It also gets a high-performance tire compound that Goodyear claimed will result in better grip in the wet as well as improved steering response.
Both the new Wrangler series and EfficientGrip Performance SUV tires are now available at Goodyear Autocare outlets. All four tire models are also available with a 5-year limited warranty and Goodyear Worry Free Assurance.
