Fast Autoworld Philippines Corp. (FAPC), broke ground for the establishment of an additional Mitsubishi Motors outlet and its first FUSO dealership in Lapu-Lapu City. The Lapu-Lapu dealership will be FAPC’s third outlet in Cebu and the tenth Mitsubishi outlet in the Visayas and Mindanao regions.
This construction of an additional outlet was made to address the growing vehicle sales and service demands in the province of Cebu. Meanwhile, the Fuso dealership will be constructed beside the new Mitsubishi dealership in Lapu-Lapu, catering to the trucking requirements of local businesses. Operation of both facilities are expected to begin on November 2018.
Both dealerships are located along ML Quezon National Highway, Barangay Marigondon, Lapu-Lapu City. The 10,505 square meter land has been divided into two for each dealership. An additional 2,790 square meter is reserved for future expansion.
The FAPC – Lapu-Lapu branch will feature a showroom which can display up to 9 cars and comes equiped wth a full service center and 23 work bays. The FUSO outlet will have a separate showroom capable of displaying 5 light to heavy-duty trucks and have 7 work bays catering to all types of service for trucks.
The groundbreaking ceremony was attended by MMPC officials Mr. Shigeru Ogura – Managing Director and Executive Vice President for Marketing, Franjudel T. Racadio – Assistant Vice President, Fuso Sales and Marketing, Julius D. Nera – Assistant Vice President for FUSO aftersales, Masaaki Yamada – Senior Manager of Vehicle Sales and Marketing, FAPC Chairman, Mr. Victor S. Chiongbian, Albert S. Chiongbian – Vice Chairman, and Ms. Julia V. Menchavez – president. Present from the local government are Honorable Paz C. Radaza – Lapu-Lapu city Mayor, Honorable Marcial A. Ycong – Lapu-Lapu city Vice Mayor, and Honorable Lucrecia M. Amores – Marigondon Barangay Chairman.
