McLaren has released the first official photos of the 570S coupe as it debuts at the 2015 New York International Auto Show in April 1.
The 570S coupe is the first model to be revealed in McLaren's Sports Series range. Up front, it is fitted with LED headlights as well as an aggressive bumper, a sculted hood and “aero blades.”
When viewed from the side, you can see McLaren's dihedral doors as well as the Pirelli PZero Corsa forged alloy wheels (19 inch on the front and 20 inch on the rear).
The rear of the 570S coupe has forged aluminum fenders along with distinctive LED taillights, concave window, twin exhaust pipes and diffuser.
The interior of the 570S coupe features leather sports seats, a flat-bottomed steering wheel, an infotainment system and a TFT digital instrument cluster. McLaren says it is also equipped with a seven-inch IRIS touchscreen and a “floating” center console.
Powering the 570S coupe is a 3.8-liter V8 M838TE twin turbo engine that delivers 570 PS at 7400 rpm and 600 Nm of torque at 5000 – 6500 rpm. It is mated to McLaren's seven-speed Sequential Shift Gearbox (SSG) transmission and the automaker claims that the 570S can hit 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds along with a top speed of 328 km/h.
