Kia has released the first official image of the 2016 Optima that is set to debut at the New York Auto Show on April 1.

From the looks of it, the 2016 Optima shares some resemblance to the Kia Sportspace concept that was revealed during the 2015 Geneva Motor Show. Compared to its previous model, the 2016 Optima gets a revamped grill with chrome surround as well as new headlight design and a restyled bumper.

Kia says the vehicle will be available with “multiple engine choices” and will have a “more spacious interior” along with a “class-up premium features” and a number of technologies which are not equipped on the previous model.
