The year 2018 has been a milestone in the history of Nissan Philippines, Inc (NPI). After numerous sales records, a 40% growth by last year’s end, and moving up as the 3rd best selling brand in the Philippines, NPI sets yet another momentous occasion after moving their base of operations in the country... albeit only across the road.
Now located in the EcoPrime Building in Bonifacio Global City, Nissan has opened the doors of their bigger and better offices.
Spread across two floors, the new NPI facility boasts of 2,752 square meters of floor space, including 12 meeting rooms, and two conference rooms. NPI has also implemented state-of-the-art communication technologies, including network connectivity and video conferencing. The new space also represents the company’s dedication in servicing the increasing requirements of Filipino customers and industry, and its further development ambitions.
Formally inaugurated on the 16th of July, the event was attended by by Nissan Asia and Oceania Regional Senior Vice President, Yutaka Sanada, who highlighted the Philippines as an important market in the region. Joining Sanada as the honorable guest from the Philippine national government was Sen. Aquilino "Koko" Pimentel III.
"This office opening is very symbolic of the importance of the Philippines for Nissan, not just in the Asia and Oceania region, but globally. The Philippines is one of our fastest growing markets worldwide," said Yutaka Sanada. "Today marks a key step in the growth story of Nissan creating a stronger platform for the launch of new technologies and electrification in the coming years."
