Nissan set to bring in the next-gen NV350 Urvan next week
The long-running Nissan Urvan will soon be replaced by the the new-generation NV350 as Nissan Philippines Inc. (NPI) recently announced its scheduled arrival next week.
Slated to have its local reveal on June 11, 2015, the NV350 Urvan will be a completely-built unit (CBU) from Japan and will feature a new exterior appearance and powertrain.
Nissan has yet give exact details about the upcoming van but international examples showed that it now features the brand's distinct V-Motion grill along with a more sleeker roofline. It measures 5,080mm long, 1,695mm wide and 2,285mm tall. It has a 2,940mm wheelbase along with a curb weight of 2,060 kg. It still has 5 rows of seats which is capable of seating a maximum of 15 individuals.
Engine-wise, the NV350 can either be powered by a 2.5-liter YD25DDTi turbo diesel engine that puts out 129 PS along with 356 Nm of torque, or by a 2.5-liter QR25DE gasoline motor that delivers 147 PS and 213 Nm of torque. NPI is expected however to only bring in the turbo diesel powerplant similarly found in the NP300 Navara.
Aside from the traditional 5-speed manual, a 5-speed automatic version might also become available when it arrives next week.
