Nissan's flagship SUV is now available as a performance variant in the United Arab Emirates after the company revealed the Patrol NISMO. Launched by Nissan to commemorate the introduction of the NISMO performance brand in the Middle East, the special edition Patrol features an aerodynamic bodykit along with a modified V8 engine.
Immediately seen outside is a new bodykit which consist of new bumpers and side skirts that bear the red stripe accent distinct with NISMO. Other exterior revisions seen on the SUV are the black side mirror caps, dual exhausts and 22-inch RAYS alloy wheels.
Inside, it has a two-tone white-black leather interior that is spruced up with red stitching and strped accents. The black leather steering wheel also sports the red contrast stitching while the instrument cluster features a new NISMO tachometer.
Under the hood, it is powered by a modified VK56VD 5.6-liter V8 direct-inject VVEL engine that puts out 433 PS (405 PS standard). Torque output was not revealed though the stock V8 puts out 560 Nm. Handling-wise, Nissan also fitted the NISMO Patrol with a more responsive steering system along with new performance-tuned Bilstein shock absorbers.
