NLEX Corporation just made it easier for motorists to get their own RFID stickers. With the Department of Transportation (DOTr) looking to make cashless transactions at toll roads the new norm, NLEX Corporation recently released the Stick-It-Yourself RFID kit.

The Stick-It Yourself kit is now available at select toll plazas along NLEX and SCTEX. With it, motorists that wish to install their own RFID sticker can buy the kit and put it on their car's headlight themselves. Interested motorists can also visit Customer Service Centers in Balintawak, Valenzuela, Tabang, and in San Fernando to purchase.

Every Stick-It-Yourself RFID kit comes with a free RFID sticker, a user and positioning guide, as well as a card for reloading the RFID. Those that purchased one will be required to pay PHP 500 for the initial load. After successfully installing it, customers may use the RFID immediately in toll plazas.

As a reminder, those that purchased it via toll plazas will have to register their RFID at www.easytrip.ph/rfidprime.html after 24 hours. Meanwhile, customers that bought it over at Shopee will need to use an order number for them to successfully register it at the said website.

With the NLEX Corporation poised to phase out the battery-powered Easytrip tags by September 30, 2020, the company's decision to release a Stick-It-Yourself kit couldn't have come at a better time. Now, if they could only fix the RFID scanners at the toll plazas for faster transactions.
