It is green and go on all lanes of the NLEX tomorrow in preparation for the high number of people travelling to the provinces to remember their dearly departed.
Asphalt laying, integrity preventive maintenance and check-ups were conducted in various sections of the NLEX to ensure the safety of the motorists using it over the long weekend.
Ambulant tellers will be dispatched to the heaviest and busiest toll plazas to alleviate traffic during the busiest times of the holiday.
Emergency personnel will be on hand at the NLEX Safe Trip Mo, Sagot Ko station at the Balintawak, Bocaue and Dau toll plazas to provide assistance to motorists. They will extend free mechanical support to vehicles that encounter trouble while inside the NLEX.
Medical help can be extended, not just in emergency cases, even to motorists needing basic first aid, pregnant women and the elderly.
Free Wifi will also be available in these NLEX Safe Trip Mo, Sagot Ko stations.
Caltex stations will also join in the effort by giving free bottled water from Maynilad and free calls from Smart.
