Motorists that frequently reload their EasyTrip RFID at North Luzon Expressway's (NLEX) Balintawak and Bocaue toll plazas will have to reload elsewhere soon.
NLEX Corporation recently announced that reloading of RFIDs at the previously mentioned toll plazas will only be available until April 12, 2021. Afterward, motorists will need to reload their EasyTrip RFIDs at over 50,000 loading sites. You can also reload via online means like Gcash, PayMaya, ECPay, coins.PH, among others.
But for those that need to reload along NLEX or SCTEX, the company mentioned that there are various reloading stations located in both southbound and northbound directions.

In case you weren't able to reload your RFID tags, you can still pay by cash in most toll plazas. That's because the Toll Regulatory Board announced last January 2021 that cash lanes will remain on expressways until further notice. An official announcement will be made once the full rollout of the 100% cashless transaction system comes into effect.
If you're planning to go on a trip via NLEX, please remember that the reloading stations at the Bocaue and Balintawak toll plazas will no longer be available after Monday next week.
