Lexus recently debuted the LF-CC Concept at the Paris 2012, their new mid-sized coupe concept following the LF-LC 2+2 Sports Coupe Concept that made its debut at the Detroit show earlier this year.

The LF-CC hints at what the future Lexus IS Coupe might look like, starting from the spindle-shaped grille to its triple-LED projector headlamp units with daytime running lights underneath it, at the rear its full width bumper further emphasizes the car's broad stance, the L-shaped 3D design layered rear lamp clusters completes the car's Lexus character.

The interior progresses into Lexus vision of offering luxury with further improvements of its human-machine interface (HMI) technology.

The dashboard is divided into two zones, the display zone and the operation zone, with the former located conveniently in the upper portion of the dashboard while the lower portion contains the latter's shift lever and touch tracer display for remote control of a range of vehicle systems.

The LF-CC is equipped with a new 2.5-liter full hybrid powertrain, the Hybrid Drive powertrain uses a new 2.5-liter 4-cylinder DOHC petrol engine mated to high-output electric motor and adopts the Atkinson cycle and D-4S direct injection technology. In addition to the engine and electric motor, the system also features a generator, high-performance battery, a power split device and compact power control unit.

The LF-CC is finished in a new Fluid Titanium paint job to highlight its bodywork while the seats, door panels and instrument cluster are trimmed in a warm amber-colored leather that strikes a pleasing contrast with its exterior.
