Paris 2014: Ford S-MAX makes global debut


Powered by several gasoline and diesel engines

The 2015 Ford S-MAX has made its global debut at the 2014 Paris Motor Show.

The 2015 S-MAX is Ford's sports activity vehicle that was first previewed at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show in Germany.

As previously reported, the front styling of the 2015 S-MAX has a trapezoidal chrome radiator grill and dynamic LED headlights with 'Glare-Free' highbeam that maintains maximum illumination without distracting other motorists. Moreover, the front bumper of the 2015 S-MAX is fitted with fog lamps while the side of the vehicle is adorned with flowing lines.


Towards the rear, it is equipped with sculpted taillights and the bumper comes along with trapeziodal chrome exhaust pipes.

The interior is dominated by black materials and silver accents. Ford says the 2015 S-MAX is equipped with front 'Multi-Contour' seats and offers 32 seating and loadspace combinations. It also has power fold functions for the second and third rows.

The 2015 S-MAX can be powered by several engines with either a 1.5-liter EcoBoost gasoline engine that delivers 160 PS, a 2.0-liter EcoBoost gasoline that generates 240 PS and a 2.0-liter TDCi diesel engines that can have power outputs of either 120 PS, 150 PS or 180 PS.
