The last of the Bugatti Veyron special edition cars arrives in style during the 2014 Paris Motor Show. Originally unveiled at the Pebble Concours D' Elegance last August, the Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse Ettore Bugatti is the final car from the “Les Légendes de Bugatti” (Bugatti Legends) and all 3 examples are already sold out.
In review, it is Bugatti's dedication to the company founder Ettore Bugatti and features a carbon body design based off the 1932 Type 41 Royale. The entire front section, side panels and doors are made from hand-polished aluminum and have a clear-coat finish while the rear section of the car is finished in dark-blue carbon. It sits on one-of-a-kind diamond cut wheels that has a contrasting dark-blue finish.
The interior features 2 types of leather, calfskin leather in natural brown that covers the entire cabin and cordovan leather that is used on the steering wheel, shifter knob, door handles, and center console armrest.
Powering the Ettore Bugatti is the brand's signature 8-liter W16 engine that cranks out 1200 PS with 1500 Nm of torque and is connected to a 7-speed dual clutch gearbox that drives all 4 wheels. It can go from 0 – 100 km/h in 2.6 seconds and will go all the way to 409 km/h with top down.
