Mitsubishi Motors Corporation (MMC) recently released two renderings of the upcoming Outlander PHEV-S Concept slated to make its public appearance at the 2014 Paris Motor Show in October.

It is expected to be a major refresh of the 2012 Outlander PHEV that was unveiled by MMC during the 2012 Paris Motor Show. Its front end features sleek headlamps flanked by a chrome trim that runs from the headlights towards the bottom section of the bumper. At the rear, the taillight decorates the rear quarter sections of the car and continues along the middle of the tailgate.

The Japanese automaker did not gave any other specifics about the upcoming plug-in hybrid except that it will have a 'a refined interior and exterior design'. Moreover, the PHEV-S Concept carries the "Sporty and Sophisticated" theme as coined by MMC that conveys the SUV's 4x4 prowess, quiet operation and on-road performance.
