Korean automaker Ssangyong recently announced that they will showcase 2 models derived from their latest B-segment SUV concept at the 2014 Paris Motor Show in October in the Ssangyong XIV-Air and XIV-Adventure

Both vehicles will carry the brand's development philosophy of 'Robust, Speciality and Premium' along with the design theme of 'Nature born – 3 motion'. Furthermore, the concepts are near production ready concepts of the upcoming X100 that will be launched next year.

Both the XIV-Air and XIV-Adventure measure 4,195mm in length and has a 2,600mm wheelbase. On the surface, they look the same, the only difference is that the Adventure model has a rugged off road look has a storage compartment on its roof, and an altered tailgate design.

The SUVs will be powered by either a 1.6-liter gasoline engine or a 1.6-liter diesel engine. No official figures have been divulged by Ssangyong but both power plants meet Euro 6 emission standards.
