The 3-door crossover features an angular front and rear end along with a sloping roofline
After Toyota announced their plans of introducing the CH-R concept last week, the Japanese automaker has officially released pictures of the concept car ahead of the 2014 Paris Motor Show. It features the company's new diamond style design language that is present throughout the body.
Style-wise, it is designed as a 3-door crossover that has a sloping roofline. The front end features a large Toyota badge flanked by sleek headlights while the lower section incorporates a distinctive grill design along with what appears like LED foglamps. The roof of the car has a uniquely-designed décor while the side profile of the car features muscular arches and grooves that imitate the precision cutting of gemstone according to Toyota. The rear has an aero-inspired taillight design and is complimented by angular C-Pillars.
From what was stated last week, the CH-R will be likely based on the Corolla's C-segment platform and will preview a small crossover that will slot below the RAV4. It is highly likely to be the brand's competitor to the Mitsubishi ASX, Hyundai Tucson and Subaru XV among others.
