A recent collaboration between Peugeot and Italian motorcycle-maker Bimota gave birth to the the RCZ R Bimota special edition which was unveiled during the Motor Bike Expo in Verona, Italy.
Carrying the PB104 name, wherein PB stands for 'Peugeot-Bimota', 1 for project number one and 04 which signifies for 4 wheels, the exterior bodywork still looks like the production RCZ R but is finished in a unique Bimota-three color racing livery. Ride height has been lowered by 10mm and it has black five-spoke alloy wheels.
Inside, Alcantara was extensively used to cover the seats and dashboard while the rear seats have been replaced with a leather wrapped box that can house 2 motorcycle helmets. Other amenities included in the special edition RCZ R are two GoPro cameras and a TomTom Bridge infotainment system with a 7-inch display.
The 1.6-liter THP four-cylinder engine now produces 304 PS instead of the stock 273 PS thanks to multiple upgrades like a new blowoff-valve for the turbo, a new exhaust system and a remapped ECU. To help it stop better, the front axle has been fitted with bigger 380mm disc brakes that use 4-piston calipers.
