Philippine Auto Components (PAC), the local subsidiary of DENSO Japan recently celebrated its 10th anniversary of operations in the Philippines at a formal dinner affair. The company has its plant and offices located in Canlubang, Laguna.
PAC has one of the most advanced automotive parts production facilities which produces air-conditioner parts, instrument clusters, radiators and other auto parts for both domestic and export original equipment markets.
On hand to celebrate the milestone were guests from DENSO Corporation Japan, led by no less than company President & CEO Koichi Fukaya who gave an insipiring speech and also noted that PAC will soon be renamed as DENSO Philippines in line with the company's plans to further expand its operations.
PAC also took the time to celebrate another milestone with the production of its 1,500,000th instrument cluster which the company produces in its Laguna plant. Executives led by Mr. Fukaya affixed their signatures on the commemorative display case. Also signing their names were PAC President Yuji Yasui, Senior Managing Director Hiroshi Uchiyama and Motor Vehicle Parts Manufacturers Association of the Philippines (MVPMAP) President Eddie Jose.
