More streamlined retail branding for consistent look with product lineup
Japanese lighting and automotive accessory maker PIAA has introduced a new retail packaging for its silicone wiper blades at the 2015 SEMA Show in Las Vegas.
The new design adopts a more modern and minimalist approach with a primarily black scheme with specific colors to highlight the product type with a plastic flip enclosure as opposed to the old blister-type or carton packaging. The new package is resealable without the use of staples and made of 100% recyclable material.
“We decided on the change to make a more consistent global image for our wiper blade lineup. It also makes it easier for customers to choose which wipers they want,” said Ken Ishihara, General Manager for Global Business.
PIAA's superior silicone wiper blade technology allows their products to last up to two times longer than traditional rubber wiper blades. It also results to better performance of wipers as well as adding hydrophobic properties to the windshield for better driving safety.
New Ion Yellow lens LED driving lamps
For more extreme driving in foggy and inclement weather conditons, PIAA is introducing their new Ion Yellow option for the RFT LED driving lamps and light bars as well.
The new packaging for PIAA Silicone Wiper Blades and Ion Yellow lens LED driving lamps will be introduced in the Philippine market early 2016.
