Gets custom bodykit, suspension system from Toyota Racing Development
The all-new Toyota Fortuner gets even more aggressive after the automaker displayed an accessorized variant of the PPV. The new Fortuner, displayed at PIMS, carries a full TRD kit: one very different from the TRD Sportivo kit offered in Thailand.
Immediately seen up front of the Fortuner is a matte black grill with TRD badging. All the chrome accents are finished in matte black. Also present are the new chin spoiler and a TRD skidplate finished in red.
Turning towards the side, the Fortuner gets a new set of 18-inch black alloy wheels, along with TRD decals and stepboards for easier ingress / egress. With a keen eye, one can also see that the Fortuner gets an increased ride height thanks to a bespoke TRD suspension kit.
At the back, the Fortuner receives a new roof-mounted spoiler, additional TRD badging, new cladding over the rear bumper with matte black trim, custom exhaust pipe finisher with carbon finish and a TRD fuel cap.
In total, the entire bodykit with the suspension upgrade will cost PhP 428,300. The bodykit with the 18-inch alloy wheels will retail for PhP 232,800. Meanwhile, the suspension kit alone will sell for for PhP 295,400.
Other TRD upgrades that can be installed on the Fortuner include: a front lower grill cover, red TRD emblem, oil filter, magnetic drain bolt, oil filler cap and a TRD shift knob.
