Porsche Philippines distributor PGA Cars Inc. recently celebrated its 30th anniversary last week with two 911s. One is the special one-off 911 Targa 4 GTS with a Pastel Orange exterior that's meant to mark 30 years of Porsche in the Philippines. Meanwhile, the other Porsche is the all-new 911 Turbo S, which now serves as the most powerful 911 Turbo with 711 HP and 800 Nm of torque.

But if you thought Porsche Philippines is done with the reveals, they might have something else in store later this year. That's because the Department of Energy (DOE) updated its list of recognized electric vehicles (EVs) and has added the Porsche Cayenne Electric.

After making its global debut last year and then making its regional debut in Southeast Asia earlier this year at the 2026 Bangkok International Motor Show (BIMS), the Porsche Cayenne Electric may soon make its Philippine debut via PGA Cars Inc.

Based on the 2026 model year listing by the DOE, the all-electric crossover SUV will be available in two variants: the standard Cayenne Electric and the more powerful Cayenne Turbo Electric. Both vehicles measure 4985mm long, 1980mm wide, and 1680mm tall on a 3023mm wheelbase. The two models also come with air suspension as standard, which can raise the vehicle's height to as much as 1735mm and lower it up to 1644mm, depending on the settings.

Powering both the Cayenne Electric and the Cayenne Turbo Electric is a massive 113 kWh battery pack that delivers power to a pair of electric motors. The Cayenne Electric makes 408 PS as standard but can deliver up to 442 PS with 835 Nm of torque when Launch Control is engaged. This allows the Cayenne Electric to catapult itself from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds and reach a top speed of 230 km/h.

On the other hand, the Cayenne Turbo Electric generates 857 PS normally but can crank it up to 1,156 PS and a healthy 1,500 Nm of torque, thanks to Launch Control. From a standstill, Porsche claims, the Cayenne Turbo Electric can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.5 seconds and achieve a top speed of 260 km/h.

On a full charge, Porsche says the Cayenne Electric can travel up to 691 km, while the Cayenne Turbo Electric can reach up to 669 km. Thanks to an 800V architecture, both models support up to 400 kW of fast DC charging. In fact, Porsche says both vehicles can be recharged from 10% to 80% in just 26 minutes when connected to a 400 kW DC charging station. Alternatively, the Cayenne Electric also supports up to 22 kW of AC charging.

With both the Cayenne Electric and Cayenne Turbo Electric getting EV recognition from the DOE and being listed as 2026 model year vehicles, we might not have to wait long for the big reveal by Porsche Philippines.
