'The fastest luxury sedan' on earth' according to Porsche will soon be revealed to the motoring public. In preparing for its eventual unveiling, Porsche released a teaser video of the 2017 Panamera.

Based on the video itself, the new-generation Panamera retains the coupe-like profile. Detailed shots of the front and rear were not revealed but based on previous spy shots, the car will adopt an evolutionary design. The front gets a tweaked headlight design while the rear has a sleeker finish.

The front and rear bumpers will also be new for the 2017 Panamera and though expect each variant to have a different finish.

Exact powertrain options were not revealed as well, but it is highly likely to be available with an array of either a turbocharged engines. A hybrid variant may also arrive in the next few months.

Porsche will unveil the 2017 Panamera next week on June 28, 2016.
