Porsche recently freshened up the Macan for 2016 by throwing in some new optional features for the crossover.

Starting from the outside, the optional Porsche Dynamic Light System Plus (PDLS Plus) now features full LED cornering headlights that has a camera-based main beam that adjusts itself when driving at night. Using information from the onboard Porsche Communication Management (PCM), the headlights will turn on an additional light that will illuminate an area where the Macan will be turning.

In addition, there are also new cosmetic upgrades including: 21-inch bi-color wheels, black air inlets and side blades, Sport Design side mirrors, black exhaust tips, smoked taillights and accent strips.

The cabin, on the other hand, will get a new PCM system. The necessary functions can be manipulated via a 7-inch touch screen and now supports multi-touch gestures, Bluetooth, SD card slot, Wi-Fi hotspot, and Apple CarPlay integration.

Upholstery-wise, an Alcantara trim with contrast stitching and illuminated door sill plates can be specified. There will also be new decorative stitching (Rhodium Silver or Garnet Red) that can be applied on the door panels, seats and instrument cluster.
