Renault is gearing up for the global debut of their first C-segment crossover as they recently released its official name as the 'Kadjar.' The new crossover will slowly unfold through social media campaigns before the French automaker the official reveal on February 2, 2015.
The name of the upcoming model comes from the French words Kad and Jar. Kad is derived from the english word 'quad' that pertains to the four-wheeled vehicle that can go anywhere while Jar stems from the French words 'agile' and 'jallir' which means 'agility' and 'suddenly emerging from somewhere' respectively. Moreover, the letter K in the Kadjar name indicates its robustness as the soon-to-be vehicle will fit alongside Renault's 2 other crossovers: the Captur and the Koleos.
Starting on January 26, 2015, Renault will begin the '#Kadjar' campaign in social media websites. New photos and videos about the Kadjar will also be released by the company in the coming days before its eventual unveiling next month.
