Renault has revealed another photo in its bid to be the fastest front-wheel-drive production car around the Nurburgring.
The picture shows the lower bumper of a yellow Renault Sport Megane RS Trophy, sporting a carbon-fiber covered Akrapovic exhaust system. The modification will likely increase the power of the hot hatchback’s 2.0-liter, turbocharged, 4-cylinder engine that already produces 265 PS and 359 Nm of torque.
Akrapovic is a Slovenian performance exhaust manufacturer founded in 1990 by motorcycle racer Igor Akrapovic. Originally making systems for motorcycles, the company eventually expanded to cars, including Formula One.
