Jaguar advanced design director Julian Thomson tweeted a couple of renders that previews his upcoming Lotus Super Elise.

As a review, Thomson was the man behind the Jaguar C-X75 concept which was first previewed in 2010. In addition, he was also the one who conceptualized the Elise Series 1 model but, Thomson said that it didn't came out exactly as he wanted.

With this, Thomson plans to develop his own design of the model through the Super Elise. Compared to the Elise Series 1, the new concept is 30mm lower and 75 to 100mm wider.

The Super Elise will reportedly be powered by a Honda V-TEC unit with a sequential gearbox which will be sending power to the rear-wheels.
