Automobili Lamborghini will reportedly debut a drop-top version of the Huracan at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show.

According to Motor Trend, the rumored Lamborghini Huracan roadster will be the company's response to the recently launched Ferrari 488 Spider. Exact details about its construction remain scarce but like most convertibles, it may have a heavier curb weight due to the additional body rigidity.

There is also no confirmation yet if the Huracan will employ a retractable folding hard top, or the more traditional soft top.

Power will most likely be derived from the coupe version which uses a 5.2-liter naturally aspirated V10 that pumps out 610 PS at 8,250 rpm along with 560 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm. All of that power is then transferred to a 7-speed dual clutch gearbox that drives all four wheels.

Lamborghini Philippines currently sells the coupe version of the Huracan and is priced at around PhP 20 million, depending on the options.
