Ultra-luxury auto brand Rolls-Royce has just announced that they had a record first half of the year with a 33-percent increase in sales worldwide.

Sales of Rolls Royce in the European market faired high as sales went up over 60-percent particularly in Germany where figures doubled. An almost 40-percent increase in sales was seen in Asia Pacific while in the Middle East a 30-percent increase was clocked. The market for Rolls Royce in the USA and China also achieved double-digit percentage increases.

“This is an excellent half-year result and demonstrates the continued confidence that our customers have in our company and our fine cars”, said Torsten Müller-Ötvös, Chief Executive Officer for Rolls-Royce Motor Cars.

The automaker says the new Wraith still continues to see a steady flow of customers while a lot of orders are already being made for the recently revealed Ghost II series. Moreover, Rolls-Royce said the Phantom is still achieving a good record of demand.
