It seems Schumi is up to something new.

Mercedes-Benz has tasked their brand ambassador, 7-time Formula One World Driver's Champion Michael Schumacher, to help on the testing of their upcoming C-Class sedan.

Schumacher took the new (but camouflaged) C-Class around their test facility at the Mercedes Technology Center in Sindelfingen, Germany; a place aptly called 'SimCity'. The 7-time champ put the driver assistance systems in the new C-Class to work, a collection that combines to form Mercedes-Benz Intelligent Drive.

"Nobody is able to give 100% concentration all the time over a longer period to cope with the car and traffic situation. Sometimes just a moment of inattention is enough. And that is precisely why I support intelligent assistance systems for passenger cars," said Michael Schumacher.

The C-Class will come with Collission Prevention Assist Plus, Distronic Plus with Steering Asssit and Stop&Go Pilot, Pre-Safe Brake, Brake Assist Plus, Active Blind Spot Assist and Active Lane Keeping Assist.

"Assistance systems are never distracted and never get tired. Assistance systems have no delay for reaction time. They can save lives,” concluded Schumacher.
