General Motors has released the first official images of the 2015 Chevrolet Camaro Spring special edition that is set to debut at the 2014 Specialty Equipment Manufacturers Association (SEMA) Show in Las Vegas on November 4 to 7.
The special edition Camaro will be offered in coupe and convertible models with 2SS trim. It has an 'Emerald Green' metallic exterior paint finish along with HID headlights, a restyled grill, a 'cyber gray' rally stripes and a body-color hood extractor.
It has body-color roof moldings, a ground effects package and 21-inch alloy wheels. At the rear, the special edition Camaro is equipped with LED taillamps, a body-color antenna and a ZL1 spoiler.
Stepping inside the cabin, it features a black interior with 'Graphite Silver' trim and a black top for the convertible models. Chevrolet also offers an optional sunroof, dual-mode exhaust, navigation radio and short-throw shifter.
The special edition Camaro is powered by a 6.2-liter V8 engine that delivers 432 PS with 569 Nm of torque with the standard six-speed manual transmission. The six-speed automatic transmission model has more modest numbers at 406 PS and 556 Nm of torque.
