Jeep and Ram will be getting the Mopar treatment for SEMA 2014. Revealed ahead of their show debut are the Jeep Renegade Riptide, Renegade Frostbite, Ram 2500 Outdoorsman, and Promaster Hospitality Van.
Sporting the Vibrance Grandeur Blue paint finish is the Jeep Renegade Riptide, a surf-inspired SUV. Accompanying the blue exterior is the Jeep Performance Parts logo that can be found on the rear body sides. The logo has been tweaked by the designers to incorporate a surfer in action, alluding to the theme of the vehicle. A contrasting black color was used for the wheels, grill and side mirror caps. The interior trim is also covered in blue and is complimented by white accents, while the front and rear seats are upholstered in black. Teak floor mats further emphasizes the surf theme of the Renegade Riptide.
Another tricked out Jeep is the Renegade Frostbite which has been tailored for snowboarding enthusiasts. The Renegade Frostbite's exterior has an overall white finish and is accented by blue accents that can be found on various sections of the car. The wheels, grill and side mirror caps are finished in blue and providing additional visual aesthetics is a unique hood and rear Jeep Performance Parts graphics. In keeping with the winter theme, the roof has been fitted with a Mopar ski/snowboard rack and a Jeep Performance Parts rock rail guard that protects the underside of the car from debris and obstacles.
Those that favor traversing off the beaten path will like the Ram 2500 Outdoorsman. It features a uniquely finished exterior paired with configurable storage and shelter. The heavy-duty pickup is finished in 'Swamp Thing Green', exclusively for the Ram 2500 Outdoorsman, and is complemented with a Mossy Oak Bottomland camouflage pattern that has been applied to the pickup's hood, roof and lower section of the body. The wheels are 17-inch Mopar concepts that are wrapped in 35x12.5/R17 BF Goodrich Mud-Terrain T/A KM2 tires.
Based initially on the Ram Chaser, the three utility hoops that were used as ladder or surfboard racks have been redesigned as a bed tent which can also function as a storage compartment. It consists of a roof rack and the 'Flip-Up' seatback tailgate which converts to a two-seat bench when folded towards the cab.
Those needing a mobile showroom for merchandise and staffing can take a look at the Ram ProMaster Hospitality van. Made to be a multipurpose utility van, the interior has counter displays, cabinets and storage compartments that makes it perfect as a display vehicle or a distribution point for merchandise sales according to Mopar. It has a two-tone exterior where the top section is finished in blue while the bottom section is colored black. It has a swing-open side panel that can display goods or serve customers.
