Hyundai and Bisimoto have once again teamed up to create a rear-drive Santa-Fast SUV for this year's Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
Starting with the exterior, the Santa-Fast features a Denmatic design scheme with Gatowraps. It also has the brand's Genuine Accessories, mudgards, and custom modified grill. The Santa-Fast rides on a 19-inch Tarmac R40 Wheels wrapped in Toyo tires.
Its interior, on the other hand, is fitted with Momo Daytona EVO seats and a crow restraint harness. Apart from these, it also features Bisimoto reservoir socks and a 4-point chromo roll cage.
“Bisimoto takes pleasure in making any vehicle fun to drive, even a larger SUV. Our Santa-Fast SUV is a proof-of-concept vehicle with driving capabilities that our customers can count on every day they turn the key,” said Bisi Ezerioha, owner of Bisimoto.
Under the hood, the Santa-Fast is powered by a Bisimoto-built Hyundai 3.8L Lambda V6 engine producing 1,090 PS. It is mated with a 6-speed manual conversion, along with a Genesis R-Spec gearbox.
The Bisimoto team worked exhaustively on the custom rear-drive and six-speed manual transmission conversions in order to achieve an OEM-like appearance as well as function. Meanwhile, full boost for the powertrain is 39 psi, and a boost-per-gear protocol is used to allow for optimal traction.
