Nismo is busy expanding their model lineup it seems. After revealing the Leaf Nismo concept a couple of days ago, Nissan's tuning division has now released the first images of the Serena Nismo. Set to make its official debut at the 45th Tokyo Motor Show, the Serena Nismo gets an array of styling and performance add-ons.

Starting off with the exterior, the fifth-gen Serena gets a custom aerokit that gives the van a sportier finish. The front bumper gets a new lip spoiler while the side skirts give the Serena Nismo more flair. Meanwhile, the rear bumper comes with an integrated diffuser for better airflow. The signature red accent, on the other hand, further accentuate the van's sporty makeover.

Moving over to the interior, the red accent stripe also makes its way on the seats. Beside that, the interior relatively remains the same. It gets a multi-function three-spoke steering wheel, a touchscreen infotainment system and a climate control system.

Power comes courtesy of a 2.0-liter MR20DD four-cylinder engine. In stock form, the inline-four puts out 147 PS with 210 Nm of torque and benefits from direct injection and twin variable valve timing. It is then mated to Nissan's Xtronic continuously variable transmission (CVT). A Nismo-tuned ECU and sport exhaust system will add more power and torque for the Serena Nismo; numbers to be revealed at the show.
