Lexus has teased the upcoming ES update prior to its official world debut at the upcoming Auto Shanghai 2015 on April 20.

Since the latest ES model was only launched in 2012, it is expected that this will only be a mid-cycle refresh with minor aesthetic revisions from the original.

The image suggests that the Avalon-based ES will now come with a more dynamic looking L-shaped daytime running lights (DRL) and a more pronounced spindle-shaped front grille.
