From November 29 to December 2, Manila will 'Get Mad About Styling and Tuning' once again with literally a bang as the 6th Manila Auto Salon will run along side the 20th Defense and Sporting Arms Show this year at the SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City.
A guaranteed crowd drawer the Manila Auto Salon boasts of a visitor count of at least 50,000 car enthusiasts, a spot-on target market for the automotive after market and peripheral industries like tires, batteries and lubricants. In the past 6 years the Manila Auto Salon has generated on-the-spot business for the exhibitors overwhelming the crowd with bargains and discounts not found outside the venue.
"This is the only motor show focused on the automotive aftermarket industry," explains Ms. Sophie de los Santos, President of Tradeshow International. "Speaking in the language of the marketers, the Manila Auto Salon is the closest link to your target market within the broad demography of car enthusiasts!"
Manila Auto Salon fans are eagerly anticipating this year's show, sending their greetings through the Facebook page. With nearly 10,000 likes, the appeal of the show is indeed across the board.
There is something that has made the Manila Auto Salon unbeatable. That's innovation.
"Among my friends I am always the first one to see the Manila Auto Salon, there is always something new to see or hear, some concept I'd like to apply to my own car. Palaging mayroon bago. The competition of styling and tuning becomes tougher and tougher every year which is good for us enthusiasts," says Butch Tan, a car enthusiast and annual visitor to the show.
"I look forward to the restyling competition," says Conrad Ivan Cruz, a car industry marketer. "There are many innovations to see among cars that maybe applicable to our vehicles. "So far I have seen many ideas for colors, textures, interiors, accessories which have proven successful in our showrooms." Restyling giants such as A-Toy Customs and Starbright Bodykits make sure that they have new designs to launch and thrill the customers.
Andy Cheng, Starbright Body Kits big boss and long time patron of the show explains, "Manila Auto Salon provides the venue to showcase talents. Everyone has a fair chance to show what he can do and get the respect and award for it."
"Manila Auto Salon will never cease to amaze," continues de los Santos. "Every year there is something new to see or an event to behold. This has brought in sponsors and participants every year which is good for the industry and for the market. They come back because they know that brand recall is so very important - something that can only be done when you unite the brand with the consumer."
For 2012, the proximate distance from another Tradeshow International organized crowd drawing event - the 20th Defence and - brings a total market size to about 100,000 spectators.
