Sports car company Sin Cars has revealed the production version of the R1. The car will debut this September in the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show and sales will commence shortly afterwards. This will be company's first production car.

Sin Cars was established in the UK in 2012 and have been developing a lightweight sports car since then. The company first unveiled the racing spec R1 in 2013 and ran that year's Goodwood Festival of Speed. A road going prototype was featured in the 2014 Autosport Show. For 2015, Sin has entered the racing version of the R1 in the European GT4 Series.

For the production R1, it will come with an array of features including ABS, an advanced traction control system, Recaro seats, an electronically controlled rear wing and a new exhaust system. The road going R1 also gets a more refined interior with an all-new design, a fully leather trimmed dashboard, air conditioning and an integrated infotainment system with a tablet.

The R1 is powered by a GM-sourced 6.2 liter V8 engine packing 525 PS. Sin Cars claims the car can do a 0 to 100 km/h sprint in a mere 2.5 seconds.
