Skyway advisory: Manila-Makati boundary marker to be demolished tomorrow
Motorists are advised to avoid Osmena Highway on October 24, 2014 from 11 p.m. until 5 a.m. the following day

Citra Central Expressway Corp. (CCEC) has announced that the Manila-Makati boundary marker along Osmena Highway will be demolished on Friday, October 24, 2014.
The CCEC said the boundary marker has to be demolished to make way for the construction of the Skyway Stage 3 columns and pierheads. The said demolition was approved by the Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA), the Toll Regulatory Board and the concerned local government units.
With this, motorists are advised to avoid Osmena Highway, particularly the 200-meter portion between Zobel Roxas and Farenheight streets, on October 24, 2014 from 11 p.m. until 5 a.m. the following day.
All three northbound lanes and four lanes of the six southbound lanes along Osmena Highway between the said streets will be closed to traffic. The two remaining southbound lanes may be used alternately by both northbound and southbound motorists on a stop-and-go trafic scheme.
CCEC also said that directional signboards pointing to alternate routes are now placed in strategic locations.
