Aftermarket shop transforms the humble Jimny into a badass Brabus G63 lookalike
We've seen the Suzuki Jimny modified to look just like a Land Rover Defender and a Mercedes-Benz G-Class. From Japanese tuners like Liberty Walk, DAMD, and Wald, it's no longer surprising to see the Jimny sport a very different (aftermarket) look.
But have you ever seen a Suzuki Jimny transform into a Brabus? Thanks to a special body kit, countless hours, and an eye for details, this highly-modified Jimny that is currently on sale by a dealership in Dubai looks just like the Brabus G63, albeit smaller.
Despite being half the size, this Brabus G63-looking Jimny looks exactly like the real thing. The front fascia features a Brabus-style grille that is complemented by a pair of round LED headlights that seem to have been lifted straight from the G63. It also has a power bulge hood with what looks like a faux intake, front quarter turn signals, and a distinct front bumper.
Other changes the unnamed tuner put on the Jimny-turned Brabus G63 lookalike include roof-mounted LED lights, prominent fender flares, black alloy wheels, side-steps, side exhausts, a roof spoiler, a Brabus-style spare tire carrier, and bumper-mounted LED taillights.
Apart from the exterior upgrades, whoever dressed up this Jimny was also busy changing up the interior. From the dashboard, leather-lined seats, steering wheel, round aircon vents, and the headliner, the Jimny Brabus G63 looks (and feels) just like the real thing.
There appear to be no mechanical changes to the Jimny as the tuner apparently focused on the exterior and interior aspects of the vehicle. That means it's still likely powered by the stock 1.5-liter KB15 four-cylinder engine that makes 105 PS and 138 Nm of torque. A 4-speed automatic transmission then sends power to all four wheels via a selectable 4WD system.
With the Suzuki Jimny now resembling a pint-sized Brabus G63, just how much will this set you back? It's currently selling for AED 165,000 or PHP 2,479,665. At that price tag, this dressed-up Suzuki is already priced way above the top-of-the-line two-tone GLX which retails for PHP 1.330 million. Talk about a lot of money.
