It appears Hyundai will also be giving their B-segment hatchback in Europe a facelift for 2018. Spotted for the first time by our spies is the 2018 i20 hatchback which gets a restyled exterior.
Looking beyond the heavy camouflage, we see the 2018 i20 sporting a new large hexagonal grill along with tapered headlights that flank the quarter panels. By our estimate, the refreshed hatchback could come with the brand's new 'Cascading Grill' design which is already seeing use in the 2018 Kona, Accent and Sonata.
The headlights, on the other hand, now come with what appear to be projectors as well as more prominent LED daytime running lights. Topping off the front fascia revisions are the cleaner front bumper and the round foglights.
Around the back, the LED taillights have been given a slight redesign while the license plate holder is now placed at the tailgate instead of the rear bumper.
Details about the 2018 i20's interior remain a mystery though it is expected to get subtle upgrades. New trim materials, more advanced infotainment system and an updated instrument panel are just some of the revisions the 2018 i20 could receive.
Its engine lineup could is expected to remain the same though Hyundai might revise them in order to meet stricter emissions laws and have better fuel mileage.
