Spied: 2018 Porsche Cayenne spotted without camouflage

All-new Porsche Cayenne bares more details in white

Yet again, the Porsche's first ever SUV, the Cayenne, has been seen undergoing tests without any camouflage. Unlike the previous test vehicle, this Cayenne spotted by our spies has been finished in white, giving us a clearer look at some of its finer details.

As previously mentioned, the next-generation Cayenne will remain faithful to the outgoing model's profile. With a quick glance, the design of the headlights appear to be carried over from the outgoing model. Upon closer inspection however, the final design of the headlights are still hidden behind overlays. Furthermore, compared to the previously spied Cayenne, the air intake vents are larger and have a completely blacked out one-piece design, leading us to suspect this is a more high performance variant.

Moving to the side, there is no visual difference on the body compared to the blue-gray previously spied. Unlike the previous, this Cayenne is sporting larger wheels and brakes, leading as to further believe that this could be a GTS or even a Turbo variant. At the rear, the exhaust has a twin tip, twin exit design, which is usually reserved for the high performance variant.

Regarding engine lineup, the upcoming Cayenne is expected to feature a wide array of diesel and engine options. There is also a new line of hybrid variants set to be used on Porsche's SUV, namely the Cayenne SE-Hybrid and the E-Hybrid. Our spies report it could make its public debut at the upcoming Frankfurt Motor Show this coming September.
