The 2016 Honda Civic supposedly got an early reveal after spy photos of what is believed to be the new-generation compact were recently posted online.
If the images are to be believed, the 2016 Civic carries over styling cues of the Civic Concept that was shown during the 2015 New York Auto Show. The front end somehow resembles the new HR-V as it features the brand's 'Solid Wing Face' along with new sweptback headlights and a sportier bumper.
Over to the side, it gets new alloy wheels along with a revised side skirt and more prominent wheel arches. Moving towards the rear, the taillights have been retained and now extend towards the trunk lid. Also seen at the back are a redesigned bumper and a sharper-looking rear.
Honda is scheduled to hold the online reveal of the next-gen Civic on September 16, 2015 at Youtube Spaces in Los Angeles.
