More aero bits may augment the grand tourer's performance version
One glance at this DB11 and you’d think it’s just a standard model, but given it’s wrapped in camo certainly this must be hiding something in store for Aston’s new tourer. A closer look gives us a glimpse of a sizeable front splitter, a larger grille, wider side sills, and a rear diffuser. If these bits are anything to go by, this may well be the new DB11 S in the works.
We can’t say much about the interior, but it’s interesting to note that this particular mule was fitted with a roll cage as well as Recaro seats. While we doubt these items may find their way into production models, it gives an idea of what other development points are being done for this platform for future use in motorsports.
If we’re lucky, a hardcore version of the DB11 may soon find its way to production with all these race-oriented bits installed.
It is likely we may see a bump in power from the twin-turbo V12, but no numbers have yet to surface. For now though, we can only wait and see how this hotter DB11 will turn out.
