With the new DB11 taking the helm of Aston Martin’s grand tourer lineup, it’s safe to say we’re bound to see a hotter version of the coupe. Much like its predecessors, the DB11 may serve as a base for several high performance versions.
Our spies have sighted one of these hotter DB11s out testing around the Eifel area – the same area as the Nürburgring as well as Aston Martin’s development center.
From the looks of it, this new DB11 is sporting a more aggressive front bumper that has larger air ducts to allow more cooling. Apart from this, the car sports an odd spoiler at the back. The wing looks to be somewhat provisional though so we’ve yet to know if this piece will make it to production.
While this likely is the mule for the DB11 S, or it could already stand in for an upcoming Vantage version as well. With its 5.2 liter Twin Turbo V12 currently pushing 608PS, we may likely see numbers in the range of 700PS for the upcoming DB11 S.
