Spied: Diesel-driven Bentley Bentayga caught testing

TDI-powered Bentley Bentayga may debut at 2016 Paris Motor Show

It appears that diesel power will soon be available in Bentley after our spies managed to photograph a Bentayga that is apparently driven by a turbo-diesel.

According to our insiders, this particular Bentayga is supposedly powered by a 4.0-liter TDI found in the Audi SQ7. Output-wise, the engine churns out 435 PS in the SQ7. It is highly likely however, that Bentley will slightly tweak the engine to get more power from the turbo-diesel.

Aesthetically, there is no clear difference between the TSI and TDI Bentayga, apart from a different set of exhaust pipes.

The TDI-powered Bentley Bentayga could make its public debut at the 2016 Paris Motor Show.

First revealed at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show, Bentley's luxury crossover debuted with a 6.0-liter TSI twin-turbo W12 which produces 608 PS at 6,000 rpm along with 900 Nm of torque at 1,250 – 4,500 rpm.
