After releasing several design sketches of the fourth-generation Sportage, Kia has already started what appears to be several test runs of the soon-to-be launched compact crossover.
Uploaded by Youtube user 'JINWOO KIM', the supposed 2016 Sportage has a revised rear end which consists of a cleaner and reshaped tailgate design, new rear bumper and a roof-mounted spoiler.
The front end of the 2016 Sportage was not seen however but the side shows a sleek and somewhat raised roofline than the current generation.
Like the previous models, the Sportage will share its platform with the Hyundai Tucson though exact engines and transmissions have not yet been confirmed.
It will be making its official global debut at this year's Frankfurt Motor Show on September 17.
