Wider fender flares and a tweaked front fascia seen on E63 Black Series
It seems that Mercedes-Benz is serious about releasing an even more powerful wagon soon after our spies were able to snap some new photos of a prototype of what appears to be a E63 Black Series.
Spotted doing road tests at the Nurburgring, the E63 Black Series prototype gets a slightly redone front fascia which we expect will look more menacing than the E63 S. Ever present is the diamond star radiator grill which is a signature piece commonly found in Mercedes-AMG models.
New to the camouflaged E63 Black Series however, are the wider fender flares. This could mean that the upcoming wagon may be fitted with wider tires for better grip.
As previously mentioned, the production version is expected to be driven by a tuned AMG 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8. Compared to the E63 S which generates 625 PS, it is highly likely that the E63 Black Series will develop 25 – 50 PS more.
