Mercedes-Benz spotted testing lightly-camouflaged V-Class

It looks the V-Class will be receiving a mild redesign soon. Recently spotted by our eagle-eyed spies in snowy Europe, it appears the van is only carrying a mild camo livery at its front fascia.

Based on the photos provided, the V-Class could get a revised front bumper and grill design to coincide with the company's new design direction. In addition, the headlights could get a new lighting signature as well to give the van a sleeker front end.

Meanwhile, other portions of the van appear to remain the same. These include the sliding doors, wheel arches, roof rails and rear fascia. But given that Mercedes-Benz has been busy of late changing up some of their models' appearances, the rear taillights could also receive a fresh new look.

Details about its cabin remain scarce but the refresh could see the V-Class get a new infotainment system derived from the all-new A-Class. Moreover, it could also come with a digital instrument panel and a redesigned center console and dashboard.

Engine options for the upcoming refresh will most likely be carried-over from the current third-generation model. These include the 2.2-liter and 1.6-liter turbo-diesel mills. Both engines are available in various output ratings and can be mated to either a seven-speed automatic transmission or six-speed manual gearbox.

Expect the refreshed V-Class to make its official debut some time this year or in early Q1 in 2019.
