SsangYong has revealed the updated Rexton W by introducing a new variant to its range-topping model.
The Korean automaker said that the Rexton W ELX variant is designed to be a “serious off-roader and tow car.” Up front, the vehicle has a chrome-plated radiator grill, an aggressive bumper and sharp-looking headlights integrated with LED daytime running lights.
The rear of the Rexton W comes with distinctive taillights, third brake light and chrome exhaust tip. It is finished off with 18-inch diamond cut alloy wheels.
Inside, the Rexton W features a two-tone theme of grey and beige. The cabin has silver and glossy black trim as well as leather seats. It also comes with front parking sensors, auto-dipping rear view mirror, heated rear seats and sattelite navigation.
The vehicle is powered by the brand's 2.0-liter turbocharged e-XDi200 diesel engine that delivers 155 PS at 4000 rpm and 360 Nm of torque between 1500 to 3000 rpm. The engine is mated to either a six-speed manual or a 5-speed Mercedes-Benz T-Tronic automatic transmission.
