Toyota gives the Innova a new appearance package in the Touring Sport
In the market for a sporty-looking MPV? You're in luck as Toyota Motors Philippines (TMP) recently released a new variant of the Innova in the form of the Touring Sport. Billed by the company as the perfect adventure vehicle, the Innova Touring Sport gets a sleeker, eye-catching finish that makes it stand out from the rest.
For starters, both the front and rear bumpers have been slightly redesigned with the forrmer benefitting from a chin spoiler. The latter, on the other hand, now comes with a diffuser and trim accents on the foglights. Matte-black 16-inch alloy wheels fill up the wheel wells while the smoked headlights give the MPV a sleeker finish. Completing it all is the chrome front grill that complements the MPV's sportier profile.
Like its standard counterparts, an array of standard features will be available to the Touring Sport like touchscreen audio display, multi-info display, reverse parking sensors and an anti-theft system.
Powering the Innova Touring Sport is the familiar 2.8-liter 1GD-FTV turbo-diesel engine. It generates 171 PS at 3600 rpm along with 360 Nm of torque at 1200 – 3400 rpm. It is available with either a five-speed manual or a six-speed automatic.
Available colors for the Touring Sport include: Blue Mica Metallic, Freedom White, Thermalyte and Red Mica Metallic.
