Motor Image Pilipinas Inc., the official distributor of Subaru in the Philippines, presents the Tanabata festival, which will run from July 18 to 20, 2014 at all Subaru showrooms nationwide.

The Tanabata festival or “Meeting of the Seventh” is a Japanese star festival that originated from the Chinese Qixi Festival. It celebrates the meeting of the deities Orihime and Hikoboshi and legend has it that the Milky Way separated the two lovers and were allowed to meet only once a year during the seventh lunar month of the lunisolar calendar.

During this event Subaru will have special offers and financing programs for all models through their bank partners.

Running on its second year, the Tanabata festival is also meant to show Subaru’s appreciation for the continued support of their customers.

“The Tanabata Festival is to show our appreciation to our customers for their continuous support to the Subaru brand. Our business has been continuously growing for the past two years. With this, we were able to end 2013 with a record breaking performance ever since Motor Image Pilipinas started its operations in the Philippines. Without the help of our customers, this wouldn’t have been possible,” said Motor Image Pilipinas Inc. General Manager Mike Luyun.

The company says this is the rare chance for you to find and own the perfect Subaru you have been dreaming about.
